Nine Realms: Path of the Dao
Open the first gate, temper flesh into scripture, refine breath into qi, and risk each breakthrough on the long ascent from mortal limits to Dao Ancestor.
Cultivation is deliberate: it drains stamina and mana, pauses at realm gates, and rewards the player who survives the backlash. The mod adds Body, Qi, and Rogue cultivation routes, shared immortal realms, techniques, arts, a journal-based menu, and an expanding lore archive.
What This Mod Adds
A cultivation experience built around pacing, path identity, resource pressure, dangerous bottlenecks, and techniques that make the fantasy readable inside Elin.
Choose A Cultivation Identity
Formal paths gain stronger efficiencies and breakthroughs. Rogues trade certainty for breadth, advancing without crossing formal realm gates.
Body Cultivator
Skin to marrow, flesh to iron. Body cultivation leans into direct physical supremacy.
- Primary growth: STR, END, DEX, PER, WIL, PV
- Resource reward focus: max HP and stamina
- Realms culminate in Indestructible Body before immortality
Qi Practitioner
Breath, spirit, and hidden flow. Qi cultivation favors evasion, magical bearing, meditation, and refined reserves.
- Primary growth: CHA, PER, LER, WIL, MAG, DV, Meditation
- Resource reward focus: max HP and MP
- Realms culminate in Tribulation Transcendence before immortality
Rogue Cultivator
A wanderer without formal inheritance. Rogues can train broadly and slowly, but cannot formally break through.
- Broad stat rolls across physical and spiritual attributes
- Can progress to the current cap without formal gates
- Best for flexible, uncertain, outsider-style play
Arts Beyond The Three Roads
Dao paths are independent from Body, Qi, and Rogue cultivation. They follow separate requirements, progression rules, and leveling systems, allowing a cultivator's chosen Dao to grow beside their realm without replacing it.
A Single Edge Splits The Clouds
The Sword Dao is the way of intent made sharp. A cultivator tempers heart, breath, and blade until one sword light can cross a thousand li and cut through doubt before it cuts through flesh.
The World Answers The True Note
The Dao of Music turns rhythm into law and melody into pressure on the soul. One clear note may calm killing intent, call the wind, disturb meridians, or make heaven and earth tremble in harmony.
The Dao Has Ten Thousand Branches
Not every inheritance has surfaced. Future Dao paths will open new identities with their own trials, thresholds, and methods of enlightenment.
Lore Wiki
Records of realms, abilities, techniques, arts, cultivation systems, and future world lore for sects, NPC cultivators, and pavilions. Filter the archive or search by name, path, mechanic, or flavor text.
Realms & Stages
Every major realm spans 1000 cultivation progress. Formal paths move through Early, Middle, Late, and Peak stages, then pause at the gate until breakthrough succeeds.
- Thresholds run from 1000 through the current 18000 cap.
- Formal paths stop at the next threshold - 1 until breakthrough.
- Shared immortal realms unlock after the ninth Body or Qi realm.
Cultivate
To cultivate is to sit before heaven and earth, draw breath through the mortal shell, and force spirit, body, and intent into alignment.
- Unlocked through Cultivation Initiate.
- Each tick spends stamina and MP.
- Realm gates create breakthrough bottlenecks.
Dao Paths
Dao paths are independent from Body, Qi, and Rogue cultivation. They use their own requirements, progression rules, and leveling systems.
- Current planned Dao paths: Sword Dao and Dao of Music.
- Dao progression is separate from cultivation realm progression.
- Future Dao paths may introduce their own trials and thresholds.
Roadmap
The foundation arc is complete. The next ascents focus on fuller techniques, rarer treasures, the Eternal Exchange Pavilion, new Dao identities, and a living sect world.
